DIA INTERNACIONAL DEL DEPORTE PARA EL DESARROLLO Y LA PAZ 

El Departamento de EF del IES El Carrascal celebra este día fomentando la práctica del deporte como instrumento para la educación en valores. Apoyamos la campaña de WANAWAKE para este día, y su trabajo para conseguir la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres. (En la foto posamos con la flor MAUA).

Nobody expected such a lovely day! Within a rainy week we had a beautiful  weather that let us enjoyed the trip. We arrived to La Jarosa Reservoir and there we started the path called "Ruta por las Trincheras". We ended walking next to La Jarosa Stream and having lunch in the shore of the reservoir. Here you have the map of the route and some pictures.

Having had to change the date because of the weather, finally we could enjoy the trip!
It was a lovely day. The students savoured the environment surrounded by vegetation, water and amazing rocks. Even the slight drizzle was enjoyable!

We went cycling from Arganda del Rey to Morata de Tajuña through the Vía Verde del Tajuña.  All 1st grade students enjoyed that day and outdid themselves. Here you can find some pictures we took.
